Which potential Minnesota Vikings roster cuts before the 2021 season wouldn’t result in a shocking reaction from anyone?

Earlier this year, the Minnesota Vikings had to make a few difficult roster decisions that resulted in the team parting ways with some longtime contributors.

The Vikings let go of several veteran players who had been with the team for two seasons or more, including Kyle Rudolph, Riley Reiff, Shamar Stephen, and Dan Bailey.

Even though these cuts were likely tough for Minnesota to make, they were departures that didn’t surprise a whole lot of people. Whether it was age, poor performance, or price, each notable veteran player the Vikings released this offseason had a reason behind it.

Obviously, Minnesota isn’t done making cuts this year as they will have to trim their roster to 53 before the start of the 2021 season.

With a bunch of new faces brought in from free agency and the NFL Draft, some players that have been with the Vikings for the last few years might be on the outside looking in when it comes time for the team to assemble their final 2021 roster.

Just like the veteran releases earlier this year though, not all of the guys that will part ways with Minnesota in the near future will come as a surprise to anyone. So who are some of the players on the Vikings’ current roster that might be on their way out to the shock of almost no one?
