Dru Samia – OG

Dru Samia might be the worst offensive lineman on the Vikings’ current roster. He’s got some tough competition from Dakota Dozier, but Samia still probably deserves the title.

Last season, Samia was given his first opportunity to be a starter in some meaningful games for Minnesota. Injuries forced the young blocker into the starting lineup and it didn’t take long to figure out that keeping defenders in front of him wasn’t exactly his specialty.

Since he’s cheap and he still has a sliver of potential to possibly develop into a solid backup, he’s still on the Vikings’ roster. But there will be a bunch of guys competing to be a part of Minnesota’s final offensive line group this year and it could result in the team letting go of Samia.

With Mason Cole and rookie Wyatt Davis being added to the fold, along with the possibility of Dozier being demoted to a backup role, Samia will likely need to prove he’s made some major progress to still be with the Vikings when the 2021 season begins.
