As we approach this year’s training camp, what are currently the strongest and deepest positions for the Minnesota Vikings?

The 2021 Minnesota Vikings appear to be a much more complete team than their 2020 counterpart.

Minnesota’s front office has done a great job adding talent in free agency and in the draft this year, creating competition on just about every level of the depth chart.

Some position groups for the Vikings could still use a little boost to their depth. But there are positions where very good and talented players will be cut as there just won’t be enough room on Minnesota’s final 53-man roster to keep everyone.

There are certain Vikings position groups that have enough depth that the team should be able to survive if they are hit by the injury bug, These are also the position groups that can keep players fresh while rotating bodies, but still not miss a beat when it comes to production on the field.

So let’s dive into some of the areas of Minnesota’s roster where they will be the strongest during the upcoming season.
