What things have to change where the Minnesota Vikings are concerned in 2021?

If the Minnesota Vikings want to get back into playoff contention next season, then significant changes need to be made across the board. This is something that was addressed by the front office during a frenzied period of player comings and goings in recent months, which has the team poised for a return to their old selves if everything clicks into place right away.

Couple this with players on the roster who should come on strongly following their encouraging performances in 2020 and the ongoing uncertainty surrounding Aaron Rodgers with the Green Bay Packers, and the Vikings can look forward to the upcoming campaign with a real sense of optimism.

There is plenty riding on the season for Minnesota’s long-serving head coach Mike Zimmer. Unless his team can start trending in the right direction, it will see speculation mount regarding his future.

Fortunately, he still commands the complete respect of the locker room, so everything is in place for the Vikings to make a better go of things next time around after so much went against them in 2020.

Without further ado, let’s examine four things that need to change for Minnesota to challenge again next season.
