Harrison Hand – CB

This is the time of year where players get the chance to take advantage of other guys not participating in the team’s OTA practices due to injuries or other reasons. Vikings second-year cornerback Harrison Hand is among those who has been given an increase in opportunities during the last few weeks and he’s definitely made the most of them.

Hand has the versatility to line up on the outside or in the slot, but Minnesota has had him focusing more on the slot during this year’s OTAs. He’s held his own and he’s even had some chances to work with the first-team defense.

During one of the team’s OTA practices last week, Hand wound up picking off a Kirk Cousins pass while he was in coverage against Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson.

Tyler Conklin – TE

Heading into the 2021 season, Tyler Conklin has the chance to really carve out a role for himself in Minnesota’s offense.

Conklin seems to be emerging as a reliable target for Cousins during this year’s OTAs and this was made pretty clear when the Vikings quarterback utilized the fourth-year tight end more than once during a two-minute drill on Wednesday.
