The Minnesota Vikings look ready to contend in 2021. There are, however, some positions on the roster that aren’t very deep.
The 2021 Minnesota Vikings are a team that looks like serious contenders in the NFC. They worked hard to improve their defense this offseason by adding players like Dalvin Tomlinson, Patrick Peterson, Mackensie Alexander, and Bashaud Breeland.
The Vikings also get a huge boost from players like Michael Pierce and Anthony Barr returning from injury and this unit, which plagued them a season ago, looks like a strength.
Minnesota’s offense is already ready to roll as they finished among the best in the league last year. Their offensive line was the weak, link but it should be better with rookies Christian Darrisaw and Wyatt Davis taking on key roles at tackle and guard, respectively.
While there is plenty to be excited about on the Vikings’ roster, there are still some positions that could be fleshed out. Some positions are full of inexperienced players, and others just need an infusion of talent down the depth chart.
So what are the four thinnest positions on Minnesota’s roster as they prepare for the 2021 season?
