3 players the Vikings could trade for before 2021 training camp

It’s not often that a former first-round pick becomes available after just one season with a team, but this could be the case with current Las Vegas Raiders cornerback Damon Arnette.
The Athletic’s Vic Tafur recently wrote that Arnette has become an afterthought for the Raiders, despite the team drafting him in 2020. One season seems a little early to give up on a guy, especially a young corner, but Las Vegas hasn’t been known to make the best roster decisions during the last few years under general manager Mike Mayock.
If the Raiders are open to moving Arnette elsewhere, the Vikings should see how much it would take to acquire him in a trade.
In Minnesota, he wouldn’t have to start next season since they already have several veterans at the top of their cornerback depth chart. Instead, the Vikings could have him sit for a year to work on improving some of his weaknesses, and then by 2022, hopefully, he would be ready to become a solid contributor in their secondary.
