Which players from around the NFL would the Minnesota Vikings love to add to their roster in 2022?

This offseason, the Minnesota Vikings added a bunch of new faces to their roster. However, several of them are only signed to one-year deals, so the Vikings could end up having a lot of holes to fill in 2022.

Depending on how the upcoming 2021 season turns out, Minnesota could also be looking to make some major changes to their roster. Some of these possible moves could include moving on from some longtime members of the roster like Kirk Cousins, Adam Thielen, and Harrison Smith.

Departures of this magnitude will be more likely if the Vikings also decide to part ways with head coach Mike Zimmer and general manager Rick Spielman in 2022. A new regime will likely want to get rid of some of Minnesota’s older players and build around their younger guys like Justin Jefferson, Dalvin Cook, and Danielle Hunter.

Even if they do make a head coach and general manager switch, Vikings ownership probably isn’t going to want the team to not be competitive in 2022. So then the new guys in charge could turn to the trade market to see which top young players from around the NFL could make an immediate impact for Minnesota.

Who are some of the guys that the Vikings could be interested in trading for in a scenario like the one mentioned above? None of the players featured on this list are believed to be available at this moment, but things can change between now and next offseason, and any of these guys would be a great addition to Minnesota’s roster.
