Adrian Peterson – RB

Adrian Peterson has said in the past that he would like to remain in the NFL until he’s at least 40-years-old so that he can try and set the league’s all-time record for career rushing yards.

While it’s a nice goal for Peterson to have, at some point, teams aren’t going to be interested in the former Vikings running back taking up one of their roster spots so that he can try to chase a record.

Peterson is now 36-years-old and he’s never been a guy who is interested in joining a team to be the last running back on their depth chart. But he might be in for a rude awakening when teams don’t want to sign a player who hasn’t averaged more than 65 rushing yards per game since 2015.

Andrew Sendejo – S

If there is any player who has been able to benefit from the amount of great defensive players to suit up for the Vikings during the last few years, it would certainly be Andrew Sendejo.

Sendejo’s performance significantly dropped off in the two seasons since he left Minnesota. The 33-year-old safety managed to start 14 games for the Cleveland Browns in 2020, but there’s a reason why they didn’t bring him back for another year.
