Wide receiver three

Even though there are some jobs up for grabs among starters on the Vikings roster, the battle for who will take the field behind Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson as a wide receiver has been a hot topic among fans.

Sure, it would be great to have a top-tier player to be the team’s third wide receiver, but that doesn’t appear to be a top priority for the Vikings. Instead, it is more likely to see two tight ends on the field in that situation.

However, there are still some players who can’t be discounted. Bisi Johnson was actually a starter for the beginning of the 2020 season and Chad Beebe had some ups and downs that make the team see some potential in him.

However, rookie speedster Ihmir Smith-Marsette could be the player to grab the job if he can prove his drops while at Iowa were an anomaly. He has the potential to rack up yards after the catch and be a real contributor in obvious passing situations.

Projected winner: Ihmir Smith-Marsette
