Top competitors:

  • Mason Cole
  • Wyatt Davis
  • Dakota Dozier
  • Dru Samia

Fixing the offensive line was a priority for the Minnesota Vikings this offseason. They traded for versatile interior lineman Mason Cole while bringing back Dru Samia on a team-friendly deal to keep fighting for a role on the team.

When you add Dakota Dozier and rookie Wyatt Davis to the mix, you have quite a few options when it comes to a player to join Christian Darrisaw, Ezra Cleveland, Garrett Bradbury, and Brian O’Neill as the team’s starters.

It would have been great to see a proven veteran be brought in to have this job while the young players battled behind them, but the bar is quite low for finding a starter when you immediately eliminate Dakota Dozier based on poor play last season and not put too much stock in Dru Samia going forward,

This should be Wyatt Davis coming away with the win. Both Dozier and Samia have had opportunities and Mason Cole would be a reliable backup who can play any position on the interior offensive line.

Projected winner: Wyatt Davis
