Business is about to pick up for the Minnesota Vikings ahead of the 2021 season. The early portion of the team’s offseason program is now in the books, leaving roster members eagerly anticipating the imminent training camp and an increase in tempo.
Things have a far more normal feel to them this summer after the COVID-19 pandemic threw a significant spanner in the works last year. Preseason games also make a welcome return to the schedule, which should enable the Vikings and others across the league to start better with more reps under their belt before competitive action begins.
There is nothing to suggest Minnesota cannot turn things around following last season’s disappointment. Some notable arrivals were secured during the offseason and this has only heightened the competition for places before those in power decide on their initial 53-man roster.
