Teddy Bridgewater – QB (Denver Broncos)

Availability: Free agent in 2022

After a disappointing 2020 season with the Carolina Panthers, Teddy Bridgewater‘s time as a starting quarterback in the NFL appears to be nearing the end.

Currently with the Denver Broncos, Bridgewater is fighting to be the starter for his new team, but there’s no guarantee he’ll succeed in 2021 even if he wins the job.

Despite his lack of recent success in the starting lineup, the former Minnesota first-round pick would be a great backup if he’s willing to accept that role with a team.

The Vikings could be making a quarterback switch in 2022, and if Kellen Mond is the guy they choose to roll with as their starter, Bridgewater would be a good option to bring in as the team’s No. 2 signal-caller given his experience and his ability to win a few games if needed.

Plus, there are still a good amount of Minnesota fans who love to see Bridgewater return to the team that drafted him.
