Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs recently spent time training with some former Minnesota Vikings teammates in preparation for the upcoming 2021 season.

When Buffalo Bills receiver Stefon Diggs departed from the Minnesota Vikings last year, it wasn’t on the best of terms. But most of Diggs‘ irritations were with the Vikings‘ coaches and people in the front office, not with the actual players in the locker room.

So it wasn’t surprising to find out that the Bills wide receiver was recently training with some of his former Minnesota teammates out in California.

On Wednesday, Vikings linebacker Eric Kendricks shared some photos on his personal Instagram page that featured him training with Diggs and fellow Minnesota linebacker Anthony Barr at a UCLA practice facility.

With Buffalo last season, Diggs had himself the best performance of his NFL career. He led the league in catches and receiving yards while helping the Bills earn their first appearance in the AFC Championship since 1993.

Needless to say, Diggs and Buffalo will be aiming to surpass their 2020 success during the upcoming season.

As for Kendricks and Barr, they’ll be looking to get the Vikings defense back to performing at an elite level. Both linebackers missed a significant amount of time last year due to injury and them not being out on the field was one of the biggest reasons why Minnesota’s defense struggled so much.

Of the two, Barr likely has the most pressure on his shoulders heading into next season. He basically missed the entire 2020 campaign and he’s now in the final year of his current deal with the Vikings. If he gets hurt again or struggles to perform at an acceptable level, then his time in purple and gold could be over after the upcoming season.

If Barr and Kendricks can remain healthy for most of the 2021 campaign, then there’s a good chance that the Vikings’ defense will be much improved compared to last year’s underwhelming unit.
