Chad Beebe

If you have spent some time on social media, odds are that Minnesota Vikings fans have seen the section that is really cheering for Don Beebe’s kid while others wonder if he has what it takes to be worthy of a roster spot.

The Vikings must like Chad Beebe at least a little since they brought him back on a one-year deal worth $920K. He is a special teams contributor who has provided some highs and lows in his three seasons with the team.

Beebe ended his 2020 campaign with 20 catches for 201 yards, 12 first downs, and two touchdowns. That shouldn’t be enough to make anyone confident of his ability to step into the starting lineup if needed, but he does seem to be a decent option when looking to spread the defense out.

Look for 5’10, 183-pound receiver to improve on those numbers and continue to prove his worth to Minnesota as a receiver and on special teams this year. He will do whatever is asked of him, but the Vikings might be putting a lot on his plate if they are asking him to take on a big role in two phases of the game.
