The relationship between Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers organization has been the talk of the offseason for the team’s fans, the Minnesota Vikings, and everyone else in the NFL.

Minnesota Vikings nemesis, Aaron Rodgers, has been having his “hot boy summer” this offseason, traveling to Hawaii with fiance Shailene Woodley and playing golf with Bryson Dechambeau, Phil Mickelson, and Tom Brady.

These adventures followed the rumors that swirled around on draft night in April that Rodgers could be traded this offseason. It is no secret that he is unhappy with his current situation with the Green Bay Packers, and there is a very real possibility he could be wearing different colors this upcoming season.

The most recent news in the State of Wisconsin vs. Rodgers saga is that the future Hall of Fame quarterback recently rejected a contract extension from the Packers that would have made him the highest-paid player in football, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Rodgers’ relationship with the Packers seems unsalvageable, and the writing might be on the wall that his career in Green Bay may be over. With training camp quickly approaching, all eyes will be on whether No. 12 will report or not.

Will the Minnesota Vikings face the Green Bay Packers with Aaron Rodgers this year?

As a Vikings fan with no bias towards whether or not I think Rodgers should play for the Packers this year, I am very happy for Aaron. He is pursuing happiness which is something each and every one of us should do in life.

I think he should enjoy retirement or play for a team somewhere in the AFC far away from Green Bay or the Midwest itself.

With the potential reality that Rodgers is not in Green Bay this upcoming season, Mitchell Trubisky being Josh Allen’s backup with the Buffalo Bills, and Matthew Stafford swapping places with Jared Goff this offseason — only one starting quarterback could return to the NFC North after last season.
