Someone else

There is always a chance that the Minnesota Vikings will have a starting linebacker who wasn’t mentioned above or might not even be on the roster at the moment. Although that is unlikely at this point.

Minnesota currently has Tuf Borland, Christian Elliss, Blake Lynch, and Cameron Smith on their roster who have a chance to impress this year, but it would be surprising to see one of them be named a starter this year.

The Vikings are also unlikely to be picking up a free agent unless the right prospect is released from another team during roster cuts. That’s not to say the team won’t keep their eyes peeled for a potential signing, but they have some high-potential players on the roster that they should be happy with going forward.

Also, it would be a bit shocking to see the team trade for a linebacker. Depending on what Minnesota would have to give up to get a player, the roster seems pretty set at the position. However, never rule out “Slick” Rick Spielman to make some moves if the transaction makes the team better.

Which of these linebackers will join Eric Kendricks and Anthony Barr in the starting linebacker trio this year? And how much trust do you have in them to perform at a high level? Let us know your opinions in the comments.
