The Minnesota Vikings got back to action on Monday for their fifth day of training camp and there were definitely some interesting things happening.

Training camp marches on for the Minnesota Vikings despite concerns about COVID-19, injuries, and camp battles going on. This time, the team live-streamed their practice for everyone to watch and it was a lot of fun for fans to get a look at everything happening.

Monday, Aug. 2 may still feel like quite a long time from the team’s regular-season opener on Sept. 12 or even the preseason kickoff for the purple and gold on Sat. Aug 14, but the clock is already ticking on the coaching staff to put together the best roster possible.

With cut days looming and a roster to fill out, the need to examine talent closely is more important than ever. There are a lot of talented players fighting for roles on this team and getting the right combination together will be essential if the squad wants a chance at a deep playoff run this year.

Let’s take a look at some of the takeaways from Monday’s training camp and what they might mean for the Minnesota Vikings as meaningful games continue to march closer to our television sets for the 2021 NFL season.
