What can Browning do for you?

Acquiring a couple more quarterbacks will be good for the Minnesota Vikings until their group can clear COVID-19 protocol. Until then, Jake Browning is the man to hold down the top QB spot for the squad at training camp.

So far, reviews of his efforts have been quite good. Eric Smith of Vikings.com talked about how the young signal-caller said he felt great. He continues to show that being the backup to Kirk Cousins might not be too much to put on his plate.

Newly acquired quarterback Case Cookus was in attendance wearing the no. 5 jersey for the team. It is also anticipated that Danny Etling will arrive tomorrow after being claimed off waivers from the Seahawks.

Having three quarterbacks will definitely help with drills moving forward, but these fresh signings should be considered nothing more than placeholder camp bodies unless they can truly impress the coaching staff.
