Day 9 of Minnesota Vikings training camp was scary, fun, and eventful. Here are some of the top takeaways from team activities on Friday, Aug. 6.

Minnesota Vikings training camp has been a major source of drama for the NFL this year. With COVID-19 related issues, injuries, new coaches and players, and much more happening, this is hardly a typical camp for an NFL team.

Despite everything going on, the team has some major issues they need to resolve going forward. There are some tough decisions that will need to be made on personnel including starting jobs and roster spots that could come down to the wire.

The first preseason game for the purple and gold will be on Aug. 14 against the Denver Broncos. That will be the first opportunity many fans will have to see some of the new faces to the team in a game-type situation.

Let’s take a look at some of the things that happened during team workouts and drills on Friday, Aug. 6, and discuss how they might impact the Minnesota Vikings heading into the 2021 NFL season.
