A minor setback
The offensive line has been a popular topic so far during pre-season and that isn’t about to change any time soon. In fact, now the availability of first-round pick Christian Darrisaw is now something that might be a bit worrisome.
Courtney Cronin went into depth on Twitter about his ailment, which is a lingering groin injury. It is the same one that he underwent surgery for in January, but that he is being bothered by it on regular occasions.
She also reports that Mike Zimmer said the injury is “one step forward and two steps back.” While it’s great that the word “tweak” has left Zimmer’s vocabulary, it is still a pretty scary development since the depth behind Darrisaw isn’t as great as it could be with Rashod Hill was filling in at left tackle at times during camp.
