It was a long, hot, and sticky practice on Day 11 of Minnesota Vikings training camp and things got interesting during Monday’s activities.

The Minnesota Vikings will get their first taste of preseason action when they take on the Denver Broncos on Saturday. Before that, Denver’s squad will take part in back-to-back practices on Wed. and Thurs. with the teams to get a leg-up on their competition.

Monday, Aug. 9 at TCO Stadium in Eagan, Minnesota was the second to the last training camp without having guests in town. The purple and gold need to get the most out of their opportunities to see how prepared they are for the upcoming year and work any kinks out of their game plan.

Meanwhile, the team still has a lot of tough decisions to make. A few starting spots are up for grabs while many roster spots need to be filled with the most talented individuals available to provide the franchise with the best chance of success this season.

Let’s take a look at some of the observations that were made during Monday’s practices and what those developments might mean for the Minnesota Vikings as the NFL’s regular season continues to inch closer to becoming a reality.
