We won’t feel any better about the Vikings after this game
Normally this would be the spot where we would give a score prediction but since this is a preseason game, we have to look at the big picture.
Training camp was a bizarre time for the Vikings as it didn’t really help them get ready for the season. The vaccination rate continues to be a major issue in the locker room and knocked out their starting quarterback for a week. Jeff Gladney was indicted on domestic assault and released and Justin Jefferson capped it all off by injuring his shoulder in practice.
In a sport that is built on repetition, none of this is ideal. But that doesn’t mean that Saturday’s game is a complete wash.
If the Vikings can execute with the first team and find a couple of reserves that step up, it should give them an idea that they have some depth on this roster.

If the opposite happens, we could see more competition leading into the final two games and perhaps a couple of calls to bring reinforcements.
