Oh, how the timetables.

The availability of some players for the preseason is the first thing that fans should be curious about. Having them participate in the three exhibition games would be a great sign that they will be available for when the game start to count toward a postseason berth.

Here are some of the notable revelations made on Thursday:

Christian Darrisaw – Mike Zimmer stated that Darrisaw needed another procedure was disappointing according to Courtney Cronin, Odds are that he won’t appear in the preseason and he probably won’t be available for the season opener.

Danielle Hunter – ESPN shared a quote from Mike Zimmer saying that Hunter will see some action during the preseason, but didn’t elaborate as to whether or not he will be in action on Saturday.

Riley Patterson – Patterson will be sitting out Week 1 of the preseason according to Courtney Cronin. Kicking duties against the Broncos will be handled by Greg Joseph for the duration of the contest.

Dede Westbrook – Courtney Cronin said on Twitter that Westbrook is on the “exact timeline” they expected when he was signed. Again, those expectations weren’t exactly shared, but it does give hope that he may appear in at least one preseason game.
