Dakota Dozier – OG

There was certainly a lot of confusion when the Vikings re-signed Dakota Dozier earlier this year, and against the Broncos, the confusion was validated.

Dozier delivered a very underwhelming performance that included a hold in the end zone that resulted in a safety and a false start penalty. He managed to do this much damage despite only being on the field for 17 snaps.

The confusion about Dozier has now shifted to wondering why Minnesota is still going to have him on their roster for their Week 2 preseason game against the Colts.

Have the Vikings not seen enough from the veteran offensive lineman to determine his future with the team? At this point, Stevie Wonder has seen enough from Dozier.

He’s received a ton of criticism during his tenure with Minnesota. But when Dozier’s performance against Denver is just more of the same from him, then the criticism is warranted.
