The Minnesota Vikings are preparing for their second preseason game of 2021. They’ve already completed all the mini-camps, OTAs, and even training camp has come to a conclusion. The regular season is just around the corner and the Vikings‘ roster is beginning to take shape.

Plenty of Minnesota players have stepped up and wowed during the summer and are ascending the depth chart. Some of these players had basically already been written off by fans and media members, while others are continuing to build off strong first seasons in the league.

While some Vikings players are thriving, others aren’t quite meeting expectations. Some of these guys looked good early in camp, but they have been quiet ever since. Others are players we hoped would show some improvement, but have yet to do so.

These Minnesota players still could make the roster, but it’s safe to say their performances during the summer have been underwhelming so far.
