Teddy Bridgewater (Denver Broncos)

We get it, some people are tired of hearing about Teddy Bridgewater and how he used to play for the Vikings. But the possibility of Minnesota attempting to acquire him before the regular season is too realistic to ignore.

If Bridgewater ends up losing the battle to be the Broncos starting quarterback to Drew Lock, it wouldn’t be surprising if they were willing to move the former Vikings first-round pick elsewhere.

Everyone knows how much Mike Zimmer loves Bridgewater and the Minnesota head coach would definitely feel better about his backup quarterback situation this year if the Vikings were able to acquire Teddy.

Taylor Heinicke (Washington Football Team)

When he was let go by Minnesota in 2017, most figured Taylor Heinicke would probably be out of the NFL by now. But the undrafted quarterback out of Old Dominion is still proving his doubters wrong as he’s looked impressive for the Washington Football Team this summer.

There are even some who believe that Heinicke should get a shot as Washington’s starting quarterback this season instead of the team just handing the role to Ryan Fitzpatrick.

But if he doesn’t end up getting a legitimate shot at the starting gig, maybe the Vikings can convince Washington to agree to a trade that would send the 28-year-old passer back to the Twin Cities.
