This Friday, the Minnesota Vikings will attempt to end their 2021 preseason on a high note when they take on the Kansas City Chiefs in their final exhibition game of the year.

Last week against the Indianapolis Colts, the Vikings at least got a much better performance from their defense as they only gave up a total of 12 points compared to the 33 points they allowed the Denver Broncos to score in their Week 1 preseason game.

However, Minnesota’s offense is still looking for their first touchdown of the preseason. So we’ll see if they can get that this week in a road matchup with the Chiefs.

Minnesota Vikings Injury Report vs. Kansas City Chiefs for Preseason Week 3:

With this being the final preseason game before the regular season begins, it would be very surprising if the Vikings or Chiefs trotted any of their starters onto the field for Friday’s matchup.

Minnesota head coach Mike Zimmer hasn’t shut down the possibility of at least having some of his offensive starters play this week since the unit struggled during their first two preseason games.

However, it would still be shocking if Zimmer actually followed through with this, so don’t expect any of Minnesota’s top players to be suited up for Friday’s contest.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Kansas City Chiefs Prediction for Preseason Week 3:

Sticking with the strategy to not make a wager on the point spread since an NFL preseason game is incredibly unpredictable, bettors should go with the moneyline for this matchup and pick the Chiefs.

Minnesota has performed poorly all preseason and there’s no reason to believe that things will turn out any differently on the road in Kansas City.
