Which players for the Minnesota Vikings will make the team’s 53-man roster and who will be released by the team? Here are some predictions.

There will be some extremely tough decisions for the Minnesota Vikings to make when choosing who to keep on their 53-man roster and who to release. There have been some players who made some plays during training camp and the preseason who might not be ready yet and others who are good but play at deep positions on the roster.

Tuesday, Aug. 31 at 3 pm is the deadline to trim the roster to 53 players. By that time, many teams will be releasing players who might get picked up by other teams, find their way onto a practice squad, or see their NFL dreams be put on hold.

Minnesota will be watching the waiver wire closely to see if any players cut from other teams would be a good fit for the Vikings, but first, they will have to make some decisions regarding their own personnel.

What will the Minnesota Vikings do with their roster? Here is a projection of the 53-man roster the purple and gold will have for the 2021 NFL season and a little look into why those individuals will make the squad.
