After trimming their roster on Tuesday, the Minnesota Vikings now have the 53 players they will be rolling into the 2021 regular season with.

As it was for every other team around the NFL, Tuesday was very active for the Minnesota Vikings as they figured out which players to keep on their final roster and which guys to let go.

Some tough decisions were made by the Vikings this year, but overall, most of their choices weren’t very surprising.

Parting ways with players wasn’t the only thing Minnesota did on Tuesday as they also made a trade with the New York Jets to acquire tight end Chris Herndon. The Vikings are hoping Herndon can help improve their tight end depth until Irv Smith Jr. is able to recover from his Meniscus surgery.

With almost two weeks until their regular-season opener on September 12 though, the Vikings could still make some roster moves before they take the field to face the Cincinnati Bengals.
