Matt Skura – C

One major concern for the Vikings over the last few years has been the offensive line. Center Garrett Bradbury has been suspect on more than one occasion since Minnesota drafted him in the first round two years ago.

In 2020, Bradbury was rated 34th out of 36 qualifying centers by PFF. Another issue with regards to this position was the lack of depth and competition for Bradbury. The Vikings did trade for guard/center Mason Cole earlier in this year for versatility and depth, but an added body would be more than welcomed.

Matt Skura was on the Miami Dolphins for less than six months before they released him. Skura is a middle-of-the-pack center that is decent at most things, but not very good at anything.

His numbers aren’t that bad either as he played 661 snaps last year for the Ravens and gave up just 10 pressures and a sack. He could end up being a solid player for Minnesota if called upon at any point during the season.
