Week 6

Carolina Panthers (Away)

  • Date: Sunday, October 17
  • Time: 12 p.m. CT
  • TV: FOX

Last season, the Vikings only edged the Panthers by one point in a Week 12 matchup. Minnesota’s roster didn’t feature as much talent in that contest as it does this year, so the final score margin is going to be much larger than just a single point in their meeting with Carolina this season.

Prediction: Vikings win (4-2)

Week 7

  • Bye week

Week 8

Dallas Cowboys (Home)

  • Date: Sunday, October 31
  • Time: 7:20 p.m. CT
  • TV: NBC

Typically, the Vikings having an extra week to prepare for a game would give them an advantage over their upcoming opponent. However, the Cowboys also have Week 7 off like Minnesota, so both teams will have the same amount of time to prepare for this Halloween night showdown.

Dallas came into U.S. Bank Stadium last season and stole a win away from the Vikings. It was a game Minnesota should have won, so to make up for last year’s disappointment, they’ll treat their fans to a memorable performance in this Sunday night matchup.

Prediction: Vikings win (5-2)

Week 9

Baltimore Ravens (Away)

  • Date: Sunday, November 7
  • Time: 12 p.m. CT
  • TV: FOX

Riding a three-game win streak and the high of getting an impressive win over the Cowboys on Sunday night, the Vikings are brought back to earth by the Ravens and quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Jackson spends all afternoon making Minnesota defenders look silly and his performance proves to be too much for the Vikings to overcome.

Prediction: Vikings lose (5-3)

Week 10

Los Angeles Chargers (Away)

  • Date: Sunday, November 14
  • Time: 3:05 p.m. CT
  • TV: FOX

A random rivalry between Vikings and Chargers fans has been taking place during the last few months and the two fan bases will get to see who cheers for the better team in this Week 10 matchup.

With more than half of the stadium filled with purple, Minnesota finds a way to leave the field with a victory over a Los Angeles team that should be a playoff contender in the AFC this season.

Prediction: Vikings win (6-3)
