The national media has absolutely no faith in the Minnesota Vikings to have a solid season in 2021, according to Week 1 power rankings.

Fans of the Minnesota Vikings would like to erase a lot of the 2020 NFL season from their memories. Other than a breakout season from rookie receiver Justin Jefferson and some nice Dalvin Cook highlights, there wasn’t much to put a smile on anyone’s face.

This offseason saw the team go out and make a ton of changes. They made sure to improve their defensive line and secondary while using some top draft picks on the offensive line in order to be competitive this season.

Did Minnesota do enough to be competitive this year? Are the Vikings expected to return to the playoffs in 2021 after coming up short last season? Those are the kind of thoughts that have to go through the minds of experts when they put together their NFL power rankings.

Week 1 is just around the corner with Minnesota playing the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. As of now, the Vikings are favorites in that game, but how do they stack up against the other 31 teams in the league?
