The Minnesota Vikings will have their hands full with the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1 but should be able to escape with a victory.

Fans have been waiting patiently for the Minnesota Vikings to kick off their regular season and the day has finally arrived. The purple and gold hit the road for Week 1 to take on the Cincinnati Bengals in their season opener.

Minnesota has a brutal schedule this year. They are set to take on some of the best teams in the NFL but thankfully face a tough, but beatable squad led by quarterback Joe Burrow for their first contest of the season.

Although anything can happen in the NFL, the Vikings should be considered the favorites in this matchup. At the moment, they are expected to beat the Bengals by a few points but any game on the road can be a massive challenge.

Let’s take a look at three reasons the Minnesota Vikings should be able to beat the Bengals in Week 1 starting with a former weakness that the franchise turned into a great strength this offseason.
