The Minnesota Vikings took a tough loss in Cincinnati, but can they rebound to defeat the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2?
One week after a disappointing loss in Cincinnati, it doesn’t get easier for the Minnesota Vikings. In a schedule that includes three straight games against playoff contenders, the Vikings will travel out west in Week 2 to face Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals.
The Cardinals are coming off a 38-13 demolition of the Tennessee Titans. With Kyler Murray feeling more comfortable in Kliff Kingsbury’s offense, the Vikings will need to have a better offensive day to come away with a victory.
That will be a challenge against the Cardinals’ loaded defense. Although they lost Patrick Peterson in free agency, their defense still has Chandler Jones, who collected five sacks against the Titans. With J.J. Watt on the other side, the Vikings will have their hands full and could be in for a rough day in the desert.
