The Minnesota Vikings will return home in Week 3 in search of a much-needed victory over the Seattle Seahawks.
It might be early, but things are looking bad for the Minnesota Vikings. Standing at 0-2 and hosting the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, the Vikings need a win to avoid the same trap they fell into last season, where they lost their first three games as part of a 1-5 start to the season.
But for the first time in nearly two years, the Vikings will play in front of a packed house at U.S. Bank Stadium. After playing their first two games on the road, they’ll hope that some positive energy will go a long way toward earning a win against the Seahawks.
Seattle comes into Sunday’s game angry after blowing a two-touchdown lead in the fourth quarter against the Tennessee Titans. With a strong cast of weapons on offense and a defense that has played well in the first two weeks, it will be a tough test for a Minnesota team that believes it can still be a contender in the NFC.
