Danielle Hunter vs. Seattle’s offensive line

The Minnesota Vikings have a pass rush again now that Danielle Hunter has returned to the lineup after missing last season. His four sacks rank second in the NFL behind Chandler Jones after two weeks and the Vikings couldn’t be happier. He is also tied for second with four tackles for loss.

Russell Wilson has been sacked six times already this season. If the Vikings can disrupt him in the backfield, they will have a chance to finally knock him off in an important game. Minnesota definitely needs this win to keep their season afloat.

Hunter needs to keep hounding the quarterback and making splash plays in the backfield to help mask the slow start of Dalvin Tomlinson up the middle. Getting into Wilson’s face and not allowing him to take deep shots will be the difference in this ball game.

Kyler Murray extended some plays in Arizona last week and they haunted the Minnesota Vikings. That cannot happen again with Russell Wilson dialing things up. Get some pressure on the quarterback, get the crowd involved, and secure the first win of the season. It’s a simple but challenging proposition for Zimmer’s defense.
