Home Sweet Home

It feels like forever since there have been fans at Minnesota Vikings home games. Last year felt extremely strange and there didn’t seem to be any kind of real advantage as a home team in the state=of-the-art facility.

It’s been nearly two years since fans have filed into U.S. Bank Stadium to get loud and rowdy while supporting the Vikings. So far this season, Minnesota has played two road games and this will be their home opener.

A noisy crowd can help to force mistakes when opponents are on offense or cause penalties in stressful situations. It can also pump energy into a worn-down defense that needs a little motivation to make one more big play.

Expect Sunday’s crowd to be loud and rowdy on Sunday. The more intense they can be, the better the chance that the Vikings can take advantage of the situation and turn it into a turnover or even a victory.
