Pound the football!

In Week 1, Seattle let Indianapolis gain 113 yards on the ground. The next week, that increased to an amazing 212 yards of rushing with the Titans averaging 5.3 yards per carry and pushing their way into the end zone three times.

At this time, it looks like Dalvin Cook should be playing on Sunday. If he is able to take the field, this could be a good game to get the combination of Cook and Alexander Mattison going early, hitting the Seattle defense with a combination of power and finesse running to keep them off balance.

Yes, Seattle did play Derrick Henry in Week 2, but after seeing how good the Vikings’ run blocking was in Week 2, there is a good reason to believe they can create running holes against the Seahawks this week.

A strong run game will open up play-action passes. Kirk Cousins can do a lot of damage off play-action and having weapons like Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen to cash in on aggressive defenses will force them to play honest defense.

These are three reasons the Minnesota Vikings will get a win against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Do you have any other reasons the purple and gold will get a win? Do you disagree with any of these reasons? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
