Feel that electricity!

There was something missing in the first two games of the season for the Minnesota Vikings. Although fans of the purple and gold travel well and can typically be spotted in pretty impressive numbers at road games, there is nothing like the oceans of fans that fill U.S. Bank Stadium.

On several occasions, the home of the Vikings was so loud and rowdy that it was obvious players on offense for Seattle couldn’t understand the calls and adjustments that were being made at the line of scrimmage. This resulted in penalties and miscues.

Fans in attendance should be proud of the noise and energy they brought on Sunday. It was a great way to re-open U.S. Bank Stadium to fans as well as feed energy directly into a team that had its back against the wall.

Minnesota winning their first home game of the year shouldn’t be too shocking, but the fact they were able to do it against a Seahawks team led by Russel Wilson puts the cherry on top of a decisive win in front of passionate fans.
