More quick thoughts from the Vikings loss to the Browns

U.S. Bank Stadium crowd a factor again – Cleveland’s offense was called for multiple false-start penalties on Sunday after Minnesota’s home crowd made it impossible to hear anything in the building. Home-field advantage is certainly back for the Vikings this season.

Barr’s time in Minnesota won’t last much longer – Anthony Barr was inactive again on Sunday due to a knee injury and he hasn’t played in a game since Week 2 of last season. He will be a free agent in 2022 and it’s seeming more and more likely that he won’t be back in Minnesota after this season.

Dantzler plays well –  After tweeting out his frustrations following last week’s game, Cam Dantzler spent more time on the field for Minnesota’s defense on Sunday than Bashaud Breeland, who was out for most of the afternoon due to an illness. Unsurprisingly, he held his own and performed much better than Breeland has this season.

Jefferson is a top-five WR this season – Justin Jefferson has picked up right where he left off last season, making big play after big play. Jefferson was at it again on Sunday, catching six passes for 84 yards and one touchdown.

Cousins is still human after all – Kirk Cousins has been playing out of his mind so far this season. But on Sunday, some of his old habits of holding onto the ball too long and turning the ball over came back to haunt him. Cousins should be able to get back on track next Sunday against the Lions.
