The Detroit Lions bring their 0-4 record into U.S. Bank Stadium in Week 5 of the 2021 season to take on the struggling 1-3 Minnesota Vikings.

It might be a bit soon to call a Week 5 game against the Detroit Lions a “must-win” situation for the Minnesota Vikings, but this might be as close to a must-win as it gets. this season considering the tough start the team had so far.

The two teams playing at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday have combined for one win this season through the first four weeks and a win in Week 5 could help to change the narrative for one of them going forward.

Minnesota should be considered a huge favorite for this game. They are the better team and they’re playing at home in front of an ocean or purple. But things don’t always go as planned in the NFL.

However, there are some good reasons to believe that the Vikings will get their second win of the season on Sunday and get a little of their groove back after their massively disappointing performance in Week 4.

So here are three reasons why Minnesota will be 2-3 after beating the Lions this week.
