3 free-agent CBs for the Vikings to consider after Patrick Peterson injury
By Adam Patrick
Prince Amukamara
Prince Amukamara is someone who the Vikings are very familiar with since he spent three years of his NFL career with the Bears.
Before he landed in Chicago though, Amukamara was a member of both the New York Giants and Jacksonville Jaguars. The Giants are the team he began his pro career with in 2011 after they drafted him in the first round, and then after five seasons in the Big Apple, the veteran cornerback signed with the Jaguars and spent the 2016 campaign with the AFC South team.
During his time with the Giants, Jaguars, and Bears, Amukamara wound up starting a total of 99 games. So he’s got plenty of experience that he can utilize to help some of Minnesota’s young players in the secondary.
With 78 pass breakups and 10 interceptions in his NFL career, does the 32-year-old corner have enough left in the tank to return to the NFC North and help the Vikings in their mission to get back to the playoffs?
