Looking ahead to the 2022 offseason, who are some of the current Minnesota Vikings players that shouldn’t be expected to return to the team?

So far this season, the Minnesota Vikings have only played six games. Despite the Vikings still having 11 matchups left on their schedule, we can already get a pretty good idea about some of the players that will return to the team in 2022 and which guys won’t.

Even with a possible salary cap increase of almost $30 million next year, Minnesota’s roster is currently set up to begin the 2022 offseason almost $5 million over the cap.

This past offseason, the Vikings signed several players to one-year deals. With how Minnesota’s salary cap situation is looking for 2022, we should expect a bunch of the guys that signed those one-year contracts to not return to the team after this season.

In addition to a good amount of the players with one-year deals, who are some of the current members of the Vikings that probably won’t be suiting up for the team in 2022?
