Following their week off, the Minnesota Vikings will return to the field on Sunday night for a big matchup against a very talented Dallas Cowboys team.

For the third season in a row, the Minnesota Vikings have a regular-season game against the Dallas Cowboys.

The Vikings came out on top in 2019 and the Cowboys left the field last season with a victory. Which team will end up with a win when they face off on Sunday night inside U.S. Bank Stadium?

Minnesota Vikings vs. Dallas Cowboys prediction Week 8

If the Vikings are going to improve their record to 4-3 on Sunday, they’ll likely need to have their best performance of the season. Dallas has won their last five games and they’re in position to challenge for the top seed in the NFC playoffs this year.

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is currently dealing with an injured calf and Minnesota might be able to take advantage of that with their pass rush. With cornerback Patrick Peterson out of action for the game though, the Vikings will have to figure something out to stop the lethal Dallas passing attack.

However, the Cowboys’ pass defense has been one of the worst in the NFL this season, and in the end, that will be what allows Minnesota to get their biggest victory of their 2021 campaign so far.
