The Minnesota Vikings have five games coming up against NFC North opponents and shouldn’t want to face these individuals if they are traded to a rival.

Week 8 of the 2012 NFL season is approaching and that means the clock is ticking on the NFL trade deadline. In less than a week, teams like the Minnesota Vikings will be unable to make any more trades and will need to go through free agency if adding a player to the roster.

Previously, an article was released on The Viking Age discussing three players the Vikings could trade before that deadline hits. Now, the idea is to take a look at other teams in the NFC North and see what trades Minnesota fans wouldn’t want to see happen.

These trades are all for players who have either been rumored to be on the trade block or make sense to be dealt away before the deadline. Of course, nobody would want to see the Lions trade for Tom Brady, but that isn’t a realistic trade that would happen anyway.

While these trades wouldn’t be massive problems for the Minnesota Vikings, they would definitely improve the teams in the division and make those five games against NFC North opponents more difficult.

Here are four players Vikings fans shouldn’t want to see traded to a division rival.
