Melvin Ingram, LB – Pittsburgh Steelers

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport stated that Melvin Ingram might be available through trade and there are some landing spots that make a lot of sense for him if the Steelers decide to shop the struggling pass rusher.

Through this point of the season, Ingram has only notched one sack on the year and a total of ten combined tackles. A change of scenery where he can get a fresh start might be best for both the defender and the Steelers.

Ingram could fit into the Packers defensive scheme quite well. Although they are tied for seventh in sacks with 18 through the first seven weeks, Also, the Lions are tied for 18th in sacks with 14 and could use help at many positions, included the edge.

Ingram’s deal with the Steelers this offseason was worth $4M and had a signing bonus of nearly $3M. That means the team taking on his contract would be getting a good bargain financially for a player with 50 sacks over 10 seasons.
