Justin Jefferson vs. Trevon Diggs

The amount of storylines in this matchup alone makes this worth keeping an eye on. The Vikings traded Stefon Diggs prior to last year’s NFL Draft and selected Justin Jefferson to replace him. They also passed on Trevon Diggs, the younger brother of their former star receiver, who has been remarkably inconsistent this season.

While Diggs leads the NFL in interceptions this season with seven through just six games, he has also been exposed often. He is near the top of the league in penalties committed and yards allowed so it’s no wonder why offenses target him. The second-year corner just makes some splash plays to make up for his mistakes.

Justin Jefferson has been phenomenal this season and Sunday should be no different. If he gets a matchup on Diggs, the Vikings need to take advantage of it and be okay with the risk of a turnover. Kirk Cousins is dealing this season, let’s not take the ball out of his hands.

Jefferson will stretch the field and even if his yards come by way of penalties, it is worth the investment. Minnesota has won with their passing game all season long. Dallas is susceptible to big plays in the passing game. This plays favorably for the Vikings and Jefferson.
