Wyatt Davis – OG

During his college career at Ohio State, Wyatt Davis was a two-time First-Team All-American. So when the Vikings were able to land him in the third round of this year’s NFL Draft, it felt like a bit of a steal.

However, Minnesota fans are still waiting to find out if getting Davis in the third round actually was a steal since he still hasn’t been on the field for a single offensive snap this season.

Currently, Davis is listed as the backup right guard behind Oli Udoh on the Vikings’ depth chart. Minnesota not giving the rookie a shot yet continues to get even more confusing as Udoh has consistently struggled as the team’s starting right guard this year.

Unfortunately, it seems like it will likely take an injury for Davis to get his first shot with the Vikings’ offense this season. Which for a team like Minnesota that hasn’t really had just an average offensive line for more than a decade, it doesn’t make a lot of sense.
