After an embarrassing loss, can the Minnesota Vikings rebound when they visit the Baltimore Ravens?

What appeared to be a free win against the Dallas Cowboys turned into a slasher flick for the Minnesota Vikings. Everybody knew Mike Zimmer’s conservative gameplan and Kirk Cousins’s rapid-fire checkdowns were a bad idea, but like a teenager going to Camp Crystal Lake, the Vikings ran into their own demise as Cooper Rush helped Dallas escape with a victory.

If that kind of loss had taken place against Dak Prescott, there would be a lot more optimism. Instead, the Vikings head into Baltimore at 3-4 and trying to find some positive momentum for a second-half run.

To begin that path, the Vikings need to defeat Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. John Harbaugh’s team is in a much better position, sitting atop the AFC North at 5-2 by doing what the Vikings haven’t — snatching victory from imminent defeat.

This matchup won’t be the snowglobe it was the last time the Vikings went to Baltimore, but it’s still an important matchup at this stage of the season. In this article, we’ll make five bold predictions to see if the Vikings can come away with a victory or dig themselves deeper into a hole.
